Q: How much does it cost to post my beats on Digitracs.com?

A: It is FREE to post beats to listen to on the site. You have to purchase credits to upload songs for sale. The cost is $1 USD per song; we do charge a 10% transaction fee for each beat/song that is purchased.

Q: How do I sell my music on Digitracs?

A: First you must become a member to sell your music. Your music MUST have an International Standard Recording Code. ISRC codes are free and can be obtained www.RIAA.com. You must have a Paypal account to receive payments.  Beats can be sold as exclusive or non exclusive rights. When selling completed song members must choose non exclusive rights.  Digitracs charges a 2O% transaction fee on all sales.

Q: What format does my beats/music needs to be in to upload?

A:  Completed songs for sale should must be uploaded in MP3 format. Beats for listening can be uploaded in MP3, MIDI. WAV, RAM and WMA formats. . Music accompaniment used for studio recording can be in MP3, WAV, and MIDI format.

Q: How to I upload beats/music to my page?

A: You can upload beat and/or music from the control panels in the user's music album section?

Q: How do I receive payment from Digitracs?

A: Payment will be made via Paypal. Paypal payments are made bi-weekly.

Q: What should I sell my music for?

A: You can sell your music for what you think it is worth. However keep in mind there are transactions fee from Digitracs and Paypal associated with your selling music on site.Paypay transaction fee 2.9%. Digitracs charges a 10% transaction fee.

Q: Searching for Beats?

A: Browsing for beats can be time consuming. Take your time when looking for a good beat to purchase. Beats can be sorted by Name, Producer, and Genre.  Featured beats can be found under the 'Featured Beats' section.
Remember to leave some feedback for the producer. In order to build a good beats library, producers need good criticism!

Q: How do I use the recording studio?

A: To use studio you must first activate your account with DIgitracs.com. Then you can access the studio through the music album section on users’ page.

Q: I cannot get recording system to work on my computer?

A: You must have java script enabled on your computer to use recording system. If you do not have java on your computer, you can download a free version at www.java.com.

Q: Must I purchase a beat from Digitracs to use recording system?

A: No, you can upload your own beats to record using our studio. Music accompaniment used for studio recording can be in MP3, WAV, and MIDI format.

Q: How does the Digtracs studio work?

A: We have designed our recording studio so users can easily record singing voice over musical accompaniment directly from the website with nothing to download. The system records on two tracks. Tracks can be played back, amplified, and mixed.

Q: How do I do karaoke using recording studio?

A: If you have an audio CD of your favorite artist. You can upload the track and voice can be removed from song if song is recorded in stereo mode without special audio effects applied to singing voice. ***Important: Sometimes voice removing does not work so well or not at all.

Q: Can I upload video to my page?

A: Yes, video can be uploaded to user's page. However you must upload video to Youtube first, only then can you paste the code from Youtube to your video section in user profile.

Q: Can I customize my page?

A: You can customize your user page by uploading picture to your background section in user profile.

Q: I can not get music to play on my computer?

A: You may have to download a free version of realplayer to your computer to play music. Free Real player can be obtained at www.real.com.

Q: What are the hits in the Advertisement?

A. Advertisement operates under a pay per click system. In the hits area, you can define the number of times you want your advertisement viewed by customers.

 Q: What does it mean when I get the message "You Have NO Payments Deserved to Be Paid?"

A: it means that you are an active user and you do not have to pay any additional costs to the site.

Q: What does it mean when it says "You Have ( 5 ) Paid Songs"?

A: This means that you have 5 credits to upload 5 songs to sell.

Q: How doI shorten the size of the videos i posted from youtube?

A: To shorten the size of the video,  you can go to video in you profile area and set the width and height in the embeded code to 150.
